thesis film – Workflow & Plan (2026 fall)

Completed so far:

1. Storyboard (needs further revision)

2. Character models: Su (two versions), the girl, and the horse

3. Partial scene assets

4. Su’s rigging (completed)

5. Basic animations: horse carriage movement and some of Su’s actions

To be completed:

1. Fix Su’s rigging (sleeves) and rig the girl

2. Model the old woman and the young man

3. Refine and finalize the storyboard

4. Expand scene assets (add more detailed houses and vegetation)

5. Start full-scale character animation

Weekly Plan:

• Week 2: Rig the girl, fix Su’s rigging, revise the storyboard

• Week 3: Model the old woman, refine the young man’s model, revise the storyboard

• Week 4: Finalize the storyboard

• Week 5: Revise the 3D storyboard

• Week 6: Confirm the 3D storyboard

• Week 7: Refine and complete any unfinished tasks from previous weeks

• Week 8: Begin full animation production
